What is Watermark?

Hi, welcome to Watermark a knowledge sharing portal which I have created to share views and ideas on upcoming events and for an open discussion. So what is Watermark and why did I use it for the name of my blog. Well let me first define watermark “A watermark is a recognizable image or pattern in paper that shows in various shades of lightness/darkness when viewed by transmitted light (or when viewed by reflected light, atop a dark background), caused by thickness variations in the paper”. It is generally used as a symbol and depicts the logo of the concern. One remarkable fact of the watermark is, it is clear when u try to look at it with different angles in light and this is what similar to my blog. Knowledge when viewed and shared with others on different facts helps in once development and this blog is my effort to share my knowledge and to develop.

I invite all to contribute with your valuable suggestions and share the knowledge which we gain as we grow.

Thanks

Hey Sourabh. A brave initiative. Well! I would add something about knowledge: 'Learned man is alive even after death while an ignorant person is dead even when living.' So, I hope that this blog enhances our knowledge and help us in our personal, professional and social development.
